I have been so overwhelmed by the response to my previous post about crafting for a Cure. Nearly every blogger I contacted agreed to both donate something to the Cure JM auction and to blog about it. In turn others have come out and said that they too would donate their creations. I would like to give a special thank-you to those who were willing to help.
Also, to all those who offered their items as a result of these bloggers putting this information out there. I love you guys & appreciate your thoughtfulness. If you ever need a favor don't hesitate to call on me. Now, if you didn't get a chance to donate to Cure JM than it's not to late. The items don't have to be mailed till August 31st - you have over a month to come up with something.
Here's a little showcase of what I'm donating. I know what you are thinking aren't those Halloween decorations in the background - and I say to you , YES they are and here's the reason. The "real" apron I'm donating is only half way done (typical Jen), I'm a last minuter (real word). So, I'm showing you one I made for a friend back around Halloween. It's reversable! Yeehaw!
These particular ones are the ones I made for my beautiful niece who is getting married next week. I made her an arrangement to go on her dress too & still need to finish the ones for all of her sisters. Now you see why I'm not done making my CURE JM auction items. One thing at a time. Right!?
OH and I will also be throwing in one of these ever so popular camera strap covers. This is the one I made for my family reunion auction and this is my half faced beautiful sister modeling it. She was the lucky winner! Love you Ging!
Thanks again Ladies, Big Big Love,

Hey Jen,
ReplyDeleteI'll whip up a few bags to donate too, heck I might make some more stuff too. We'll see what happens.
Jen, You are incredible. I love it, all of it... I can't wait. Thanks again so much. H
ReplyDeleteHi Jen!!! I wanted to thank you for entering my Guess the Designer contest! Your name wasn't drawn as a winner, but i thought you should win anyway because you were one of the few people that guessed correctly!
ReplyDeleteI would like to send you some of my fabric from the Eden line, and 2 patterns of your choice!
Please email me with your choices, and also your mailing address.
Thanks again!
BTW...I love your blog!
Your items are so cute! Whew - I was thinking I had to have mine shipped today for some reason. I am glad to have a little more time :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well!

Jen,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to drop by and say hello and thank you again for the donations that are coming in for the Cure JM Foundation Auction on Sept. 10, 2010. I don't have the list in front of me right now but if I can remember off the top of my head there have been 6-8 donations packages delivered. All of them different and all of them beautifully made and with a great amount of love and compassion. I am truely honored to have such a wonderful friend like you with such a warm and giving heart and who had such a brilliant idea to share the Craft For A Cure idea with fellow bloggers and readers. We are 9 days away from showtime. I appreciate each and everyone who has shown support and compassion.
Much love,
Heather
P.S. I will send out a thank you with first names and last initials of all doners once the show is over. Thanks again.
I hope the auction went well. I checked my confirmation and the post office said that my items made it in time. Thanks again for putting it together!! I hope you are having a good September so far!
